About Event

Description

Astral Thesis is a business-oriented paper presentation challenge designed to evaluate participants’ ability to align technical research with real-world business constraints. Teams will analyze innovative ideas and present research solutions while adapting to randomly assigned cosmic constraints that simulate market, resource, or operational limitations.

Participants must clearly explain their core concept, define the assigned constraint, and justify how their proposed solution maintains both technical feasibility and business viability.
This event emphasizes analytical thinking, adaptability, strategic planning, and practical relevance.

Eligibility

Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students

Inter-college teams are allowed

Inter-specialization teams are allowed

Team Size

2 to 3 members per team

Event Format & Duration

Total Duration per Team: 8 minutes

5 minutes – Presentation (including constraint adaptation)

3 minutes – Question & Answer session

Rules & Guidelines

Teams must submit their abstract prior to the event for screening.

At the beginning of the event, each team will randomly select one cosmic constraint.

Teams must prepare a PowerPoint presentation covering:

Core idea of the paper

Description of the assigned cosmic constraint

Strategy used to adapt the idea to the constraint

Business impact and feasibility analysis

The Q&A session will focus on both technical clarity and business justification.

Strict adherence to time limits is mandatory.

The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
