About Event

TECHNOVA ’26 is a National Level Technical Hackathon conducted as a flagship event under NEXERA Tech Symposium 2026, organized by the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Coimbatore Institute of Technology. The hackathon provides a competitive platform for students across India to ideate, innovate, and develop real-time technological solutions to contemporary engineering problems. Participants will undergo abstract evaluation, prototype development, and final demonstration, with opportunities to collaborate, learn, and compete for exciting prizes.

How to reach Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore

Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT) is located at Peelamedu, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

By Air:
Coimbatore International Airport is approximately 8 km from the campus. Taxis and auto services are readily available from the airport.

By Train:
Coimbatore Junction Railway Station is about 7 km away. The college can be reached via taxi, auto, or city bus services.

By Bus:
Frequent city buses are available from major bus stands in Coimbatore to Peelamedu. Get down at the CIT College stop.

Local Transport:
Auto-rickshaws and cab services are easily available throughout the city.
