Problem Statement:

SMART PAPER SHREDDER-HACKATHON - Development of Working Model

Design a portable, energy-efficient, and low-noise smart paper shredder prototype using refurbished or recycled materials, with integrated control and data monitoring systems. The device should seamlessly integrate into circular economy workflows and include a mechanism to compact the shredded paper for efficient storage or recycling

Specifications:
• Shredding Requirement: A4 size paper( Min 5 sheets at once)
• Shredder Mechanism: Gear/Dual blade shaft
• Smart features: Jam detection, Bin full alert, Auto start/stop
• Energy: Solar/hybrid powered

Events

A team of up to 5 students, including at least one female student, from various disciplines of Engineering & Technology is required to participate.

First prize : Rs. 12000/- Second prize : Rs. 8000/- Third prize : Rs. 5000/-
