About Event

BioArtopia is a unique three-round event that brings together microbiology and artistic expression. Participants will dive into the microscopic world by capturing detailed microbial images, applying staining techniques for identification, and crafting agar art to showcase their creativity.

The event unfolds in three exciting rounds: a pictorial quiz testing microbiology fundamentals, microbial identification using staining techniques, and an artistic streaking challenge on agar plates. Creativity, accuracy, and scientific knowledge will be key to winning!

This event provides hands-on experience in microscopy, lab techniques, and scientific imaging while encouraging interdisciplinary thinking. Participants will develop critical lab skills, enhance their creativity, and gain insights into microbial identification.
