The FDP on “IoT and Machine Learning Approaches for Smart Agriculture” aims to delve into the transformative potential of emerging technologies in revolutionizing modern farming practices. This event will bring together experts, researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts in the fields of agriculture, IoT, and machine learning to explore innovative solutions for enhancing agricultural productivity, sustainability, and efficiency. In digital agriculture management, highlighting the integration of AI, IoT devices, machine learning, and sensor technology in enhancing farming efficiency and productivity. Emphasis is placed on the use of robotics, drones for crop monitoring, and smart irrigation systems, which leverage real-time data for Optimized agricultural operations. The role of high-speed 5G networks in enabling these smart Agriculture farming solutions, particularly their impact on data transmission and connectivity in rural settings. Challenges and opportunities in implementing Smart Agriculture in developing countries are explored, focusing on real-time soil analysis and decision-making aids for farmers. Working lunch will be provided by the organizers. Interested participants will be offered accommodation in the University Hostels / Guest House on payment basis. TA to outstation participants will be paid as per AICTE regulations. Reimbursement for travel will be made only on the production of original tickets.
