About Event

SRIT and Mechatron Motors jointly organize a National Level Electric Bike Design Challenge event, which is an initiative for the newbie engineering student teams to gain exposure on design challenges in electric bikes and help them advance their careers. Teams around the country will get the opportunity to design an electric bike powered by Lithium Ion Battery and Brush-less DC Motors. Every team must do complete research and development to develop an efficient Electric Bike (Self Manufacturing or Retrofitted Bike). They must build complete reports on different components used in the electric bike and showcase the calculations behind it. Teams will also get an opportunity to present their vehicle design to our esteemed technical committee and receive valuable feedback from them. All the teams will get an opportunity to become nationally recognized and also win many awards and prizes.
