About Event

Dekathon 2022 is a 3-day Indo-Malaysian design hackathon jointly organized by St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology, Chengannur, in association with Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia, APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University and Kerala Startup Mission to be held from 16-18 November, 2022. The design hackathon, themed “Towards Zero Sanitary Waste Pollution” after Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 6 and 11, comprises three segments including
Think it: First design a science-based process for the safe disposal of a selected sanitary waste.
Develop it: Then develop a product idea to execute the process.
Win it: Finally make a pitch deck presentation of the product idea that has commercial feasibility.
Experts relating to the respective field will be available during the hackathon and the participants can seek the help and guidance of them to develop their idea and prepare a pitch deck presentation.
