About Event

The purpose of conducting this workshop is to expose faculty members, researchers and industry persons to real time Hardware in Loop (HIL) simulation environment for rapid prototyping of electrical systems. Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation is a technique that is used for testing control system of any plant or process. OPAL-RT platforms for testing and validation of electronic controls cover a wide range of applications, from renewable energy conversion to highly complex Multi-Modular Converters (MMC) and the electric motors of tomorrow’s transportation industry.
