About Event

• UG, PG students and research scholars from engineering colleges and universities in India are eligible to participate
• Projects must be a demonstrable working project (hardware or software) from any engineering disciplines
• Project evaluation will be based on novelty, innovation, technology, societal impact and green initiatives
• Maximum team size is 4.
• Only one student per team can come for demonstrating the project during the EXPO
• Participation certificates will be given for all members of the registered teams
• Best projects will be awarded with prizes worth Rs.20,000/- and appreciation certificates
• College / University ID card is mandatory for registration
• Teams claiming discount in registration fee must have at least one IEI member in the team and a valid IEI membership card is mandatory for the same
• Participants must carry all necessary accessories and components required for demonstrating the project during the EXPO

How to reach NIT Puducherry, Karaikal

National Institute of Technology Puducherry (NITPY) is situated in Karaikal. NITPY is located on the National Highway NH32 at about 58 Kms from Chidambaram towards South. The Institute is located about 8.5 Kms from Karaikal Bus stand on the Nagapattinam to Chennai Highway (NH 32). Karaikal Railway Station is about 11 Kms from the NITPY. The simplest and most economical way to reach NITPY is Bus Routes from Puducherry and Chennai pass through the Institute (to stop at Thiruvettakudy Arch) to reach Karaikal Bus Stand.
