SCOPE OF THE FDP
Today, with the development of economy, the construction industry has seen a phenomenal growth. Globally, buildings are responsible for a huge share of energy, electricity, materials and water consumption. Green buildings provide the best solution to preserve precious natural resources and improve our quality of life. A ‘green’ building is a building that, in its design, construction or operation, reduces or eliminates negative impacts, and can create positive impacts, on our climate and natural environment. Therefore, understanding Green Building Practices ensures sustainable civil construction. This FDP will help the participants to understand the current trends in Green Building design, architecture, innovative materials and rating systems.
