About Event
A virtual, national-level event that will provide a forum to fan the flames of true entrepreneurship with grit & gusto, to whet the grey cells by spurring out the inner genius by giving a rich, corporeal experience that is stratified into three stages.
Event Hierarchy:
Stage 1: Lace it, Brace it, Scale it & Chase it!
Stage 2: Acing the eCap
Stage 3: Shark Tank
Guidelines:
All the participants shall strictly adhere to the undermentioned guidelines:
Each team shall comprise of 2 - 4 members only.
Once the team leader has registered with their team name, logo, and MVP they wouldn't be allowed to change it under any circumstances.
For stage 1, each team is required to upload their MVP on social media platforms i.e. Instagram/Facebook only and gain maximum likes and comments in order to get qualified for the next stage.
For stage 2, each team shall strictly adhere to the maximum limit of fund available in their virtual account failing to which will result in negative marking.
For stage 3, each team shall present their MVP before the jury in a maximum of 7-slider PPT excluding cover slide and thank you slide. In case, if any team is willing to attach excel files, they can submit the same in a zip folder.
The submission shall be in PDF format.
The MVP must be your own original work and shall comply with all the guidelines failing to will result in disqualification.
All the event-related correspondence will be notified to the team leader via email.
The jury’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The organizing committee will make necessary arrangements to present the MVP (7 Slider PPT) of the selected team.
Rules:
Once the team leader has registered with their team name, logo, and MVP, they wouldn’t be allowed to change it under any circumstances.
Use of SMS lingo & foul language, defamatory statements, and obscene or indecent content is strictly prohibited.
Each team will be allotted a span of 10 minutes maximum to pitch their MVP before the jury failing to which will result in negative marking.
Good internet connectivity is the responsibility of the participants as they have to turn on their camera during the presentation.
No change in team structure will be entertained after the registration.
One student cannot be part of more than one team.
It is the duty of the team leader to ensure proper communication with the organizer to avoid any hassles.
Highlights of the Competition:
Cash prizes worth Rs. 40,000 along with E-Certificates
Participation E-Certificates [to all participants]
Eminent Jury/Experts like Venture Capitalist, Angel Investors, Renowned Entrepreneurs
Virtual Account of each team would be opened
Allocation of virtual money to start the business
Events
Stage 1: “Lace it, Brace it, Scale it & Chase it!” (Preliminary Round)
In this stage, the participants will have to prepare MVP (Minimum Viable Product) of product/service by preparing a lean canvas (Business Plan) and upload the same on a social media platform. Participants who will get maximum likes and comments on social media will be qualified for Stage 2.
Stage 2: Acing the eCap (Intermediary Round)
In this stage, the groups would be filtered on the basis of popularity that they have gained by getting maximum likes and comments. The groups selected in Stage 2 will be granted a virtual amount with seed capital of ₹1,00,000 to make their MVP (Minimum Viable Product) functional. The details and login credentials for their virtual account will be shared with the respective group leader.
Stage 3: Shark Tank (Final Round)
This is the final stage wherein the qualified groups from Stage 2 will be pitching their MVP (Minimum Viable Product) before the jury by giving them the salient details of their MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and would be judged on various parameters like management knowledge, decision-making ability, investing and innovating dexterity, technicality, interpersonal skills which will earn them points and decide their final score.
