About Event

Minfest’20 (formerly Minovation) is the flagship programme of the Department of Mining Engineering, IITBHU, India’s oldest haven of mining engineering, and its theme is- Where mining embraces AI . We recognized that mining is not a thing of the past. It is the primary industry that provides fuel to every industry of the world to thrive upon. Thus, mining must go on with the pace of the fourth industrial revolution embracing Artificial Intelligence and other Hi-tech models, thus the change of name from Minovation to Minfest, from innovations of the past to the inventions of the new decade. We hope to instil in every participant, what every IITian feels right now, that every brain is unique and must contribute to bring a revolution in industry and nation-building.
