Tecnoesis is the annual techno-management fest of NIT Silchar. Started with the aim of providing a platform for the student community to develop and showcase their technical prowess, Tecnoesis has expanded it’s horizon to become one of India’s prominent Techno-management Festival.

From NITS HACKS for the coders to Smart City for the designers; from the much respected Conferenza, that features the greatest innovators to the much awaited Spark, that brings together the best musical minds of the country; Tecnoesis provides the perfect blend of passion and innovation. It has grown beyond leaps and bounds to become a grand three-day event on the campus of NIT Silchar attracting people from all walks of life including students, academics, professionals and the general public.

The theme for this years Tecnoesis is “Tecnoesis 2020: A saga of Intergalactic Ventures”

Get ready to explore the infinite universe with us. The universe seems neither benign nor hostile, merely indifferent. This year's Tecnoesis is going to be bigger and better than before. Dive deep into what space exploration really is, with us, this time around. The theme signifies a deeper connection of mankind and space. Every one of us is, in the cosmic perspective, precious. If a human disagrees with you, let him live. In a hundred billion galaxies, you will not find another.

How to reach NIT Silchar

There are three ways to reach NIT Silchar (National Institute of Technology, Silchar). Anyone who wish to visit Silchar town or NIT Silchar campus should take a bus from Guwahati town from ISBT Guwahati. Of-course you can reach NIT Silchar by train also Airways: Silchar has its own Airport which is known as Kumbhirgram airport. There are daily flight from Guwahati to Silchar and also from Kolkata to Silchar.
