About Event

India is one of the largest car manufacturing countries in the world but there is insignificance in sales of the Electric Vehicles (EVs). With finance ministry giving tax exemptions for EVs and government pushing towards the electric mobility, many car manufactures are in urge of launching their EV models by the end of 2019. The 5 day short term course provides the insight knowledge on power converters for communicating the batteries and hybrid sources in electric vehicle system with the grid. The course focuses on recent trends in DC/DC, DC/AC converter for applications in electric vehicle and grid connections. It will also encompass the technologies in converting and controlling the power flow in e-mobility. The clear view of the standards and issues in bidirectional power transfer between the electric vehicles and the grid will be addressed
