Greetings!

COEPMUN is the annual United Nations conference organized by the COEP Debating Society. A two-day simulation of the United Nations committees, COEPMUN aims to develop critical thinking among delegates by making them familiar with the dynamics of United Nations committees while working and assuming the roles of UN representatives and members of other International Bodies.

The 9th edition of COEPMUN is organized on 14th and 15th of December 2019.
Here's a round up of all the committees and their agendas:                                                                 
College Level Committees:
1. *Disarmament & International Security Committee (DISEC)* - Controlling the use of drones and illegal arms in the Yemeni conflict
2. *United Nations Security Council (UNSC)* - Cuban missile crisis
3. *United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)* - Protecting the rights of migrant workers in foreign states
4. *World Trade Organization (WTO)* - Protection of intellectual property rights across international borders

School Level Committees:
1. *Special Political & Decolonization Committee (SPECPOL)* - Addressing the problem of stateless population in Asia
2. *Committee on Peacful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS)* - Setting a framework for space tourism
3. *United Nations Economic & Social Council (ECOSOC)* - Combating the gender wage gap globally
