Workshop Cum Championship on "Wi-Fi Controlled Robotics" organized by the Department of ECE, Dr.N.G.P. Institute of Technology, Coimbatore in EDC-IIT ROORKE, Revert Technologies, Finland Labs and Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers.

Events

ROUND 1 : 2-DAYS ROBOTICS WORSHOP WILL BE ORGANIZED BY ROBOFEAST-2019 AT ZONAL CENTER (Dr.N.G.P. INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY).
ROUND 2 : PRELIMS ROUND OF “ROBOTICS CHAMPIONSHIP-2019” WILL BE HELD JUST AFTER THE COMPLETION OF ROBOTICS WORKSHOP AT ZONAL CENTER.
ROUND 3 : WINNERS OF ZONAL CENTER GET A WILD CARD ENTRY IN THE FINAL OF ROBOTICS CHAMPIONSHIP (ROBOFEAST-2019) ON MARCH 2019 AT IIT-ROORKEE.

ABOUT THE WI-FI CONTROLLED ROBOTICS WORKSHOP:
In this workshop, students will build a Wi-Fi Controlled Robot that can be operated remotely via a smartphone using Wi-Fi. The robot is connected to the internet with the help of ESP 8266 Wi-Fi module and can be controlled through a smartphone. You will learn about Networking, Wireless Communication, and Arduino Programming as part of this project.

2-DAYS WORKSHOP OUTCOMES:
1.Design and Build a Wi-Fi Controlled Robot
2.Hands-on experience with Arduino and Arduino Programming
3.Concepts & application of Wireless Networking
4.Learn about ESP8266 Wi-Fi Module
5.Get hands-on experience on Arduino, Wireless Technology, ESP8266 Wi-Fi Module & Motor Drivers.

BENEFITS TO THE PARTICIPANTS:
