Carbon Zero Challenge aims to trigger novel ideas towards developing carbon neutral systems and grid free infrastructure to serve five major sectors which are plagued by energy shortages/costs. They are Agriculture,Industries,Transportation, Urban Areas & Cities,Water & Waste Management.The objective of Carbon Zero Challenge is to nurture innovative and indigenous solutions to reach a stage of market scalability.The name “Carbon Zero” signifies our collective humanitarian goal of reducing dependence on carbon-based fossil fuels and minimising greenhouse gas emissions.
1. Start-up support fund for the winner team
2. Funding support of ‘up to Rs. 5 Lakhs per team’ for selected teams to build prototypes
3. Internship/liaising with industry for ‘problem identification’
4. Mentorship from Subject Experts
5. ‘Entrepreneurship training and certification’ for selected teams
