About Event
Filmophile Short Film Festival, conceptualized to commemorate a hundred years of Indian Cinema, in association with “Delhi International Film Festival” and “The Social Circle”, is a great platform for all new film makers across India. FSFF aims at understanding the science, art and emotion behind cinema, reaching it out to the audiences far and wide and promoting Indian Cinema, Art and Culture. The Festival offers premier showcase opportunity for talented film makers and artists, celebrates avante garde cinema, felicitates masters and achievers from all walks of life and brings colleges closer by building bridges to enable cross cultural exchanges, social understanding and creative ideation.
Rules & Regulations:
1. All films / documentaries shot on film or Video (Analog / Digital format) after January 2018 within a running duration of 3 minutes to 10 minutes are eligible for the festival/awards.
2. Entries of all films / documentaries (hereafter collectively called Films) shall be accepted only in DVD format OR Online.
3. There shall be 3 categories in the festival/award: Documentary, Fiction, Silent.
4. Best 3 films will be awarded in each category.
5. If language of the film is other than English, it must be dubbed or sub-titled in English.
6. Films may be entered by any college/ Inter-college team is allowed.
7. Selection of films / videos for FSFF 2018 will be done by a committee whose decision will be final. However, Festival Authorities reserve the right to accept or reject any film that is likely to offend sentiments, feelings or sensibilities of any caste, community, religion and sect or is likely to promote racism or ill will in the society.
8. Only one entry from a team is allowed.
9. A team can have 2-5 members.
10. FSFF 2018 would be allowed to use all photographs and publicity materials received along with the entry.
11. The Festival Authorities will have the right to screen (maximum 10 screening in each category).
12. For promotional / publicity purposes, films posters can be used during the festival period.
13. Entry Forms with incorrect / inadequate / illegible / ambiguous particulars will not be considered.
14. DVDs submitted for selection will be considered as final and no changes will be entertained after submission. It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to submit DVDs without any physical / quality defects.
15. Each film must contain a card in the beginning and at the end of the film. The card will be mailed to each team after registration.
16. All shortlisted entries will receive a certificate.
17. Films once selected and submitted for the final screening will not be allowed to be withdrawn under any circumstances, until the Festival is over.
18. Last date of film submission is 21 March, 2018.
19. Participation in the Festival implies acceptance of these Regulations.
20. Decisions of the Festival Authorities regarding all matters not expressly provided for in these regulations or which require interpretation of the clauses mentioned above shall be final and binding on all parties.
21. A poster of the film and the list of cast and crew must be attached with the dvd or the mail.
