The workshop on “Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering" is organized to impart the knowledge on the origin of soil, characteristics of soil and soil classification as per BIS 1498-1970, etc., This workshop will give exposure to site investigations, ground improvement techniques, foundation on expansive soils and determination of bearing capacity of soil by various field tests.
