Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat,Distt. Solan, Himachal Pradesh, are very happy to invite your college to paticipate on our annual tech-fest “Murious-XII” from 10th to 12th of February,2018.
Murious-XII will bear witness a multitudinous audience in the two day long technical festival, with students from many different institutes participating in various technical events and tech-talks. It is an exciting festival with many technical and cultural events.

TECH TALK

Dr. Arpan Kar, associated with the Bharti School of Telecom and the CoE in Cyber Systems and Information Assurance in IIT Delhi. He is/has been the Chairman / Coordinator of different administrative portfolios like Smart Campus, Office Automation, Corporate Relations and Placements, Faculty Recruitment, Post Doctoral Fellow recruitment, Case Center and Policy & Vision., is going to enlighten MURIOUS XII with his magnificent works in field of Compter Science.

Mr. OoPpSs, is a very young Cyber Security And Cyber Crime Investigator. He has been involved in the information technology And Cyber Security field since 6 years. He later pursued his higher studies in the field of Cyber Law and Computer forensic.


ROBOTICS EVENTS

Electrophile : A wire loop game which involves guiding a metal loop (a 'probe') along a serpentine length of wire without touching the loop to the wire.
Robo Race : A robotic competition is an event where robots have to accomplish a task. Usually they have to beat other robots in order to become the best one.
Maze Bot : Here's where strategy dominates strength, planning beats power. Take your maze solving skills to next level and help your make escape the maze in minimum possible time. But beware! Watch your bot against collisions!!

BRAIN STORMING EVENTS

Codez : If you think you have the best coding skills in the town or if you are a smarter and you are willing to practice your coding and compete against the very best of coding. Here we bring to you programming contest, where coders from all fields compete.
HackerEarth: If you think you have the best coding skills in the town or if you are a smarter and you are willing to practice your coding and compete against the very best of coding. Here we bring to you programming contest, where coders from all fields compete.
Jeopardy Quiz : Want to exhibit your knowledge at the right time and in the right place, then come and be a part of this big Jeopardy Quiz. This quiz is based upon the general knowledge. This will be conducted in round of two.
Maze of Lethe : From leading brands like Woodland to basic apps like truecaller, we surrounded by infinitely cool stuff. So if you think you know it all! Prove it to us by beating your rivals at this guessing mania.
Mock Placement : It consists of four rounds. The first round focuses on a written test, second focuses on case study/group discussions, third is the technical round and the last round is the basic HR interview round.

Virtual Cricket Auction : Be an owner of own Cricket Team. Get Ready to pick up the best batsmen and construct own team from the Auctions. Come one come all. Don't just Dream your team, run them down.
ADRENALINE : LAN Gaming

Fifa 18 : A multiplayer football game here done within two players. Each player attempting to win the match by scoring as many goals in two halves. Projected live on our large screen this is the hyped and successful game at “Adrenaline”.
Counter Strike 1.6 : A first person shooter strategic game with daredevil efforts in which players join either the terrorist team or the counter terrorist’s team in order to complete their specific mission objectives and to eliminate the opposing team.
Counter Strike: Global Offensive : Do you really think you're a counter strike-go champ?? Wait and think again! Beat all your opponents and reach the top to prove yourself a victor coz you know what... your opponents are champs too!
WWE Pain : The game introduced a more complicated grappling system, while retaining the series’ fast game play. Also included with this new grappling system were body damage displays, submission meters, as well as the ability to break the submission hold when touching the ropes, and individual character scales that consisted of statistics (such as strength, endurance and speed).
NFS Most Wanted : Most Wanted is like other Need for Speed games, where the player selects one car and races against a time limit or other racers to reach a destination. Police chases have once again been integrated into certain racing sessions, in which the police employ vehicles and tactics to stop the player's car and arrest the player.
BLUR : Blur is a racing game that features stylish racing in realistic locations and 50 real-world cars fighting it out using power-ups and speed boosts. It also features realistic car damage modeling.
