Anu Emmanuel is a film actress who made her acting debut as a child artist in the Malayalam film Swapna Sanchari. She was Born on March 28, 1997 Chicago, Illinois, USA. Her Home town is Thazhathangady, Kottayam, Kerala, India.

Anu acted in Swapna Sanchari while she was attending school in India. Upon completion of the film, she went back to US to finish her high school. While in high school, Anu knew she wanted to pursue something in the artistic field. During her senior year in high school, She was the first pick to act in Charlie with Dulquer Salmaan, but due to her final exams she had to withdraw. She made her acting debut as lead in Nivin Pauly starrer Action Hero Biju which was directed by Abrid Shine. After her Malayalam debut she went back to US to attend college in which she pursued psychology. During that time she got an offer for a Telugu film Oxygen and was announced as the female lead in Oxygen alongside actor Gopichand in the lead. During the shoot of that film she signed Majnu along side actor Nani.

She was conffered on Producers Guild Film Award for Best Actress in Telugu nominated, SIIMA Awards for Best Debutant Female in Telugu. Anu received much critical praise for her role and performance in the film. She immediately went on to the big league by signing Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram followed by a film starring Allu Arjun called Naa Peru Surya.
