About Event

Machine learning is ubiquitous. From medical diagnosis, speech, and object recognition to engine health monitoring and predictive maintenance, machine learning techniques are being used to make critical engineering and business decisions every moment of the day. This workshop presents the fundamental concepts behind the application of modern machine learning and deep learning algorithms. The workshop comprises of a series of lectures and practical exercises. The participants will obtain deep insights of the principles behind various learning algorithms and also case studies will be given for practice. The framework for reasoning about when and where to apply these learning algorithms. The MATLAB programming language will be used for demonstration.
