Avian Aerospace in association with INFINITY 2017 - Jain University is conducting a national level workshop and competition on RC Micro Quadcopter as part of the pre-tech fest events.

The workshop is meant to introduce the students into the world of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Technology. This workshop includes the basic aspects of designing, fabricating, assembling, flying and maintenance of these vehicles. It also covers topics on basics of Quadcopter algorithm and coding, electronics, sensors, navigation and communication systems, autopilot system etc..,

Charger
Spare Propeller
Tools (screw driver, cutter, cello tape, etc.)


Pre-requisites
1 laptop per team with preferably Windows 7 or 10

• Basics of Aeronautics and Aeromodelling
• Introduction to UAVs – Evolution and Classification
• Vertical Takeoff and landing Vehicle (VTOL) operating principles
• Selection of different UAVs for specific applications
• Principal differences between Quadcopter and other UAVs
• Design Methodology, parameter selection
• Propulsion systems selection, Material selection, Sizing of Quadcopter
• Control Algorithm of Quadcopter, Programming, debugging
• Sensors, navigation and autopilot system
• Electro optical payload and other sensor payloads
• Fabrication of Quadcopter
• Flight Trails and error rectification
• Advanced real time applications of UAVs

How to Apply

• Receive the team registration number Assistance for outside participants
• Accommodation will be provided on request, maximum of 3 members per room at a price of ₹350 per person
