Madras School of Social Work established in the year 1952 by Mary Clubwala Jadhav, is a pioneering institution offering quality higher education in the fields of Social Work, Human Resource management and allied disciplines.
PG DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WORK (AIDED)
The Post-Graduate and Research department of Social Work (Aided) is the oldest department of the college offering PG, M.Phill and Ph.D programmes in Social Work. The Master of Social Work (MSW) programme has three specializations namely, Human Resource Management, Community Development and Medical Psychiatry. The MSW-HR course is grounded in different components of Social work methods and HR focus which lays the foundation for effective relationship management, besides being socially relevant strategic business partners.
HRSC FORUM - THRIVE’17 - "Beyond the Silos"
The Human Relations Study Circle’ is the forum of MSW (Aided) students specializing in Human Resource Management. The Forum actively seeks widen perspectives, create new dimensions, give practical exposure and strives for professional excellence in the field of Human Resource Management. The Study Circle facilitates industry-institution interaction and serves as a platform for the students to attune themselves with industry practices and trends.
