Workshop
Venue/Offline Mode
Bannari Amman Institute of Technology
About Event
3D printing (additive manufacturing), a jaw dropping technology is by far one of the most interesting and happening technological advancements that mankind has seen in almost a decade. 3D printing was used to make threedimensional objects under computer control and quickly fabricate a scale model of a physical part in layers using three-dimensional computer aided design (CAD) data. 3D printing technology is breaking down barriers in design and manufacturing, and making what was previously impossible, possible for anyone with just a basic understanding of the technology.

Workshops
3D Printing is an effective tool that could speed up and improve new product development and drastically compress the time-to-market. 3DP has come a long way in terms of materials, quality and process capabilities. It could initially make only polymer components whereas ceramic and metallic parts are possible today. In terms of geometric quality and material homogeneity and variety, 3DP parts have improved tremendously
