Ritu is the Techno-cultral fest of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Kottayam.
We celebrate Ritu with four major symbolisms in mind...
Ritu is the festival of RANG or color. Colors in Ritu are symbolic of our rich cultural heritage.Ritu fosters our quadranscentennial old vision of technological and scientific ILLUMINATION which we keep progressing in this mission by creating platforms to reflect the technical brilliance of the student community to the whole world.
Ritu is also a festival of TREASURES. Ritu is a mega treasure hunt aimed at excavating RIT and turning it upside down. Every bit of soil will be upturned until all its gems show up.
Ritu is the festival of UNITY where people congregate, rising above their narrow prejudices and shallow preferences, ripping apart the chains of politics, religion, region, etc. It is a platform where differences are not forgotten... they are surrendered, in love and reverence for a fellow being.
