Hackathlon also known as a hack day, hack fest or code fest is an event in which computer programmers and others involved in software development and hardware development, including graphic designers, interface designers and project managers, collaborate intensively on software projects. This Hackathlon 2016 is intended for hackathons to create Mobile Apps. for educational or social purposes, etc. The exact theme will be announced to participants on the day of the Hackathlon and they will be given about 12 hours to come up with some tangible output. The best applications will be rewarded with prizes. Judges from academia and industry will jointly select the best projects. The goal of the Hackathlon is to “highlight the use of ICT for the welfare of society by the Youth”.
