Every engineering institution is incomplete without a proper expression platform.To give the color to their student's thoughts, life to their vivid ideas, but more so,to get them aquianted to an entirely new world where bookish knowledge meets creativity. It is with this intent that the Tech Club was originally created and aptly named, INNOVENTION. INNOVENTION THE FEST On 3rd & 4th September 2011, INNOVENTION created history by hosting the first ever tech fest of SVIST , with an unprecedented turn over from most colleges across kolkata and beyond. Innovention'11 had witnessed steep competition for securing the top slots in most of its competitive events. And on 2nd, 3rd & 4th March 2013, INNOVENTION 2013 took place in the college and that was another huge success for the college and the club. The fourth version of INNOVENTION has been conceptualized to present a series of attractive and competitive events in a 2 day package designed exclusively by and for the students. At INNOVENTION 2K15, every participants will compete for the top slots in a variety of events showcasing their talents and brainpower and above all, creativity in a wide spectrum of events ranging from robotics, chess, aptitude, informative know-how,gaming, coding , project demonstrations, presentation , designing and much more.
