About Event

Biotechcellence - an amalgamation of intellect,ingenuity and imagination - is a national level technical symposium born from the co-operative efforts of Centre for Biotechnology (CBT) and Association of Biotechnologists. The symposium aims to highlight the advancements in Biotechnology in the Medical, Industrial and Agricultural fields that have taken place over the years Biotechcellence is an annual, national-level, technical symposium that aims to promote and celebrate intellect, ingenuity, and imagination. It was born from the cooperative efforts of the Centre for Biotechnology and the Association of Biotechnologists. Each year, the symposium highlights the recent advancements in Biotechnology in the Industrial, Medical, and Agricultural fields. It serves as a platform for students to showcase their ideas and receive feedback, and provides an opportunity for participants to interact with prominent personalities associated with Biotechnology and related fields. Ever since its inception in 1994, Biotechcellence has evolved from a small- scale convention to a national level event, and the participation from students, scientists, and the Biotechnology community continues to grow each year. Biotechcellence ’15, the 21st edition of this symposium, promises to be bigger and better than all the previous editions of Biotechcellence held until now. The themes for this year’s edition are:  Day 1: Forensics and Genetics  Day 2: Cancer  Day 3: Toxicology Eminent scientists and authorities in their fields will be delivering lectures and conducting conferences in the fields of Biotechnology, Food Technology and Pharmaceutical Technology.
