About Event

CENTRAL ELECTROCHEMICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE (CECRI) is one of the thirty eight national laboratories under the aegis of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). CECRI is a unique, multidisciplinary Institute devoted to electrochemical sciences and technology, interfacing with Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Physics and Physical Engineering, Metallurgy, Material Science and Nanotechnology, Biology and Environmental Sciences, Photovoltaic and Electronics. The Electrochemical Technologists Association (ETA) functioning under the endorsement of CECRI, Karaikudi is a technical organization with the B.Tech students and scientists as members. The ETA holds regular sessions to discuss developments in the field of science and technology. ETA is the organizing body behind the “Symposium on Electrochemical and Chemical Technology (SELECT)”. Till date ETA has organized twenty four national level symposiums wherein students are given opportunities to show their innovative technical skills and presentation abilities. This year ETA has planned to organize this 25th Silver Jubilee National Level Technical Seminar in Electrochemical Technology (SELECT) during February 26th - 27th, 2015.
