About Event

Since Independence, India is experimenting with different types of development policies with an objective of enhancing welfare and well being of population. But ground realities are different from the on-paper strategies and policies. In the complex and dynamic global environment, nation is facing many challenges like declining growth rate, fiscal and current account deficit, high inflation, rupee depreciation, crisis in higher education , power sector etc. The frustration of common man has reflected in their views regarding the administrators, policy makers, and law enforcers. The recent political change in the nation is outcome of this frustration. Not only the common man but industrialist, business enterprises, and others feel that now its high time that government need to tackle these challenges more effectively. The conference aim is to analyse in depth contemporary issues in Indian political and economic scenario and to evolve measures and concrete solutions to meet these challenges.

Objectives of the Conference : To create awareness and dialogue between professionals, academicians,and research scholars on major issues related to sustainable development of the country. To understand and analyse the present political and economic scenario prevailing in the country . To discuss the various burning issues creating obstacles in growth and development of Indian economy. To identify the gap between realities and practices in the field of politics and economic development and suggest necessary changes to plug the gap.
