Spandan, the annual mega media cultural event organized by the Media Studies (BJMC) department of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies is one of the biggest media- cultural festivals of Delhi. The four day mega media fest, offers a platform for college students from all over the nation to not only exhibit their talent and skills to the world, but also present them with opportunities to interact with prominent media personalities, become part of discussions and gain practical exposure. From media interactions to film screenings, from literary events to musicals, from competitive events to informal gatherings, this affair has it all. It is a celebration of our varied culture, traditions and not forgetting, the colours of media. It promotes creativity to its utmost extent. With the promise to create a blend of creativity and intellect, the media festival has always endeavoured to cater to evolving media trends in the ‘age of metamorphoses. In the four days, we strive to present you varied perspectives on key issues, attempts to thaw stalled dialogue and gives a platform to voices of dissent. Almost every talent and ability is covered through the myriad of events that Spandan has to offer every year. The festival aims at providing its attendees with a conducive environment where they can learn and enjoy at the same time.
