About Event

Prodaya 2014 is the inaugural national level technical and cultural festival of National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand. Prodaya has been one of the most eagerly awaited and anticipated college festivals of Uttarakhand. It is one of its kind of a national college festival being organized in the lap of the mighty and beautiful Himalayas witnessing huge participation from hundreds of colleges, with more than a thousand participants competing in over 30 events.

Events

Prodaya 2014 will be organized from April 18th -20th, 2014. Competitions in Prodaya cover a wide variety of fields like Robotics, Quizzing,Coding, Lan Gaming, Musical Performances, Singing, Dancing, Band Performances, Dramatics, Fine Arts and Literature. Our flagship events include cultural performances by internationally acclaimed bands, Robotic Contest, Mathematics Contest (Math-O-Mania), Build the Circuit and Band Wars. Prodaya is also organizing National Advance Robotic Workshops (N-ARC) in association with I3Indya, New Delhi in various college of Northern India where the students will be exposed to cutting edge technology and will have the hands-on opportunity to work and build their own gesture controlled robots.

How to reach NIT Uttarakhand, Srinagar

Temporary Campus is located in Govt. Polytechnic, Srinagar Garhwal (Distt. PauriGarhwal).Srinagar Garhwal is 105 km from Rishikesh on National Highway No. 58 leading to Badrinath (193 km from Srinagar). Rishikesh is the nearest Railway Station. Haridwar, a major Railway Station in Uttarakhand is 130 km from Srinagar. Nearest Airport at Jolly Grant, Dehradun is 125 km away from Srinagar. Taxis are available for Srinagar from Airport. Buses and Taxis are available for Srinagar from Rishikesh/Haridwar. It takes 4 to 5 hours to reach Srinagar from Rishikesh.
