About Event

LaTeX is a document preparation system and document mark-up language. It uses the TeX typesetting program for formatting its output. LaTeX is based on the philosophy that authors should be able to focus on the content of what they are writing without being distracted by its visual presentation. It has superior support for mathematical equations, graphics, bibliography and handling of references over the traditional word processors. Despite of these merits of LaTeX, it is sparsely used in academia. This workshop on LaTeX will enable the academicians to productively utilize their valuable time in developing research rather than typesetting in a word processor.
