Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology is one of the most prestigious Engineering Colleges in the country. Electronics and Communication is labelled the EVER GREEN department and as the trend goes it attracts most of the potential students. The Electronics and Communication department of CBIT is a world in itself where, innovation is respected and creativity is worshiped. The department has been accredited thrice by NBA, AICTE and is also certified by ISO 9000:2008. The department has received several certifications from reputed international organizations like IEEE. The ECE department of CBIT, in association with the IEEE and the ISTE student chapters of CBIT, is proud to introduce SYNAPSE’14, A National Level Technical Symposium on the 7th and 8th of March 2014. ECE department takes great pride and privilege in organizing SYNAPSE annually on a large scale, where a fine merge of technical and cultural events is beautifully spread on the canvas that showcases latent talents of an individual. ECE department has many accolades to its credit, in addition to which SYNAPSE is considered a feather in its hat and it is meticulously organised with great panache by the students of the department that brings out entrepreneurship qualities in them. SYNAPSE’14 is a two day fest where papers and posters on various topics are invited, they are scrutinized by a committee of experts and the best are selected for presentation, in addition to this we have a line-up of technical events like Circuittrix, Quiz-o-tronics, Robot Soccer, All-terrain, project expo and several non technical events to make the festival thoroughly absorbing. Sporting events like Radium Cricket, Tug of War and many informal events like Treasure Hunt are in store to keep everybody engaged. To add to the festivity we have Dandiya and Cultural Night.
