SANKALP – The Social Convention,an initiative of Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee is an endeavour to bring together, students from all over the nation with similar motives under the same roof and integrate their efforts for the greater good of the society. Social Service has long been considered as a work for the indolent and the good-for-nothing section of the society. SANKALP aims to shatter all such misbeliefs and myths. We here at SANKALP, strive to give a direction to the enthusiasm and energy of the youth for the cause of Bridging Barriers prevailing in the society. Loaded with a plethora of inquisitive events, a lot of exposure and a wholesome dose of fun, SANKALP targets the overall development of the participants and a change in the deep-rooted image of social service.
