About Event
Dakshh is three day long extravaganza that happens every year, at Heritage grounds and has students from all different reputed colleges of India participating in various inter college events. The levels of competition in these events are something to be noted, as each college strives hard to be the best. The Annual Technical Fest of Heritage Institute of Technology where we inspire innovations and new ideas are implemented to mark a difference in TECHNOLOGY. With great technical events lined up with prizes worth 2 lakhs DAKSHH 2012 lands up with a difference to take you high towards a technical ride.Events
ROBOTICS: Each year DAKSHH enthralls the crowd by arranging the most innovative and unique robotics events. This year too we have a variety of manual robotic events like · XLRation (robot cars race in a obstacle-laden track for victory) · ROBO SOCCER (robots have to swim in a pool and collect balls) · ROBOWAR (robots have to prove their physical prowess and wrestle with opponent robots) · AUTONOMOUS (program will control, no manual activity allowed) · ON-SPOT ROBOTICS (participants have to instantly design their own robot) · Hydrabotics AND MORE….. The GAMING events are sure to become the apple-of –the-eye for most of the game-addict students as the prize money is going to be lucratively huge this year. The event includes Counter-Strike 1.6, NFS Most Wanted, FIFA 11. The participation frequency increases with each year. Apart from professional players/teams like FOULPLAY, AIM2GAME, LAN HACKERS,etc, students from all the engineering colleges across the city and state participate in the gaming events. BRAINSTORMERS: This category includes events which challenges the concepts of Mathematics, Electronics and Computer Programming. Some of the events in a glimpse.. · MATH-E-MAGIC(students are tested on their knowledge of mathematics) · CODEWARS(participants are evaluated on their knowledge of computer programming) · FLAWED(participants are evaluated on their knowledge of computer programming) BIO-TECHNOLOGY 4 ALL EVENTS: This category of events open up to the participants a new dimension where there is a fine fusion of technical knowledge merged with biology… it includes events like · EVOLVE X( participants try to prove For survival of fittest Evolution is necessary ) · PETRI PAINT ( where bacteria is the brush and the media the canvas) · BIOSENSOR ( participants try put forward better solutions for social reasons related to Biotechnology ) · LAB-RAT( participants showcase their concepts regarding working models of instruments) ONLINE EVENTS: · Daily quiz on Facebook where people in 100s participate daily · SHUTTERBUGS :Online photography competition ( Where students of best photography skills tussle with each other ) · Online Treasure Hunt.
