Emerging Trends in Engineering Science and Technology

About Event

The main objective of the conference is to explore the technological researches in the design and development of different engineering fields and to discuss various ways to disseminate awareness of emerging developments. The conference seeks contributions from academicians, researchers, engineers and students to present leading research findings, innovations and developments in engineering applications. Also the conference provides a forum for presentation of new research in various areas of engineering disciplines. The conference thus plans to bring researchers, academicians and industrialists together for sharing and exploring new ideas for research and development and present the latest research trends and issues in their field. The conference will be of two days and will comprise of talks delivered by experts drawn from academia, industry and technology leaders. Apart from the inaugural, guest talks, and valedictory sessions, the conference will include parallel sessions on different tracks concerning, in which contributors shall be presenting their papers.

Events

PROCEEDINGS AND PUBLICATIONS Abstracts of all accepted papers and keynote addresses by the experts of eminence will be published in the Conference Proceeding Booklet and on the CD media. Proceedings of all full length papers of the Conference will be published by CSI also and will be available at CSI DIGITAL PORTAL: csidl.org. Some of the presented papers selected by the Conference Committee may be published by either of the leading peer reviewed journals mentioned below: --CSI Journal, --ICT Transactions (Springer), --Journal of Indian Institute for Engineering, Management & Science (JIIEMS), and --Vivechan-International journal of Research (V-IJR).

Accommodation

Accommodation will be available to the participants of out station on a first come first serve basis in the hostels. The Tariff rate for one day and night accommodation is as follows: Double-bed Room @ Rs. 800/- per participant on sharing basis (Check out time is noon to noon).

How to reach College of Engineering Roorkee

The distance from the Roorkee railway station and bus stand to COER campus is approximately 10 kms and 8 kms respectively. The distance from the Haridwar railway station and bus stand, is approximately 23kms. Private and public transports are available from both sides; charges are approximately Rs.10 from the Roorkee bus stand and Rs.25 from the Haridwar bus stand. The climate at Roorkee during March will be generally pleasant. The temperature will be around 17 - 34 Degree Celsius.
