BITS Model United Nations Conference (BITSMUN) is one of the largest MUN conferences of its kind in the Indian Subcontinent. Organized annually in Pilani, BITSMUN attracts experienced and first time MUN participants from colleges and schools all over the globe.
The conference was founded in 2007 as a grassroots project aimed at introducing Model UN to students who otherwise would not have the opportunity to participate in this experience. As BITSMUN expands, we seek to reach out to more colleges and schools of various disciplines from all parts of the world to encourage greater participation in an activity that brings together knowledge in international relations and interpersonal skills.
The sixth edition of BITSMUN shall be held from 14th - 16th February, 2014.

How to reach Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences BITS Pilani
BITSMUN will be held at the renowned university, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani Campus. Pilani is located in the Jhunjhunu District of Rajasthan and is the birthplace of the industrialist Ghanshyam Das Birla.
The Pilani campus is approximately 200 km from Delhi and 220 km from Jaipur. From hilltop temples and beautiful havelis to authentic Rajasthani restaurants, there are many places to visit around Pilani. While you are here, definitely do ask a BITSian what is not to be missed!
So, How do you reach Pilani?
By Rail
The nearest railway stations to Pilani are Loharu (26 km away) and Chirawa (16 km away). The departure timings of trains to Loharu from Sarai Rohilla Station in New Delhi are 0705hrs, 0840hrs and 2335hrs (Daily). Buses and taxis are readily available from Loharu to Pilani.
By Road
Direct buses to Pilani are frequently available from Delhi (ISBT, Kashmere Gate) and Jaipur (RSRTC Bus Stand, Sindhi Camp). It takes about 4 hours by taxi and 6 hours by bus from both of these two cities to reach Pilani. The BITS campus is very close to the Pilani bus stand.
The BITSMUN Society will also be organizing buses from Delhi and Jaipur, the details of which will be made available after registrations are complete.
