‘Surge’, is the annual cultural festival organized by the Students’ Council of K.J. Somaiya Institute Of Engineering And Information Technology. Last year more that 4000 students had attended and participated in our cultural festival to make it a platform where enormous scales of talent were displayed. Inspired by the success of previous SURGE the Students’ Council is tremendously motivated to organize a bigger, better and different event than before. We are vastly passionate of creating a cultural festival with a difference. Therefore ‘Surge’, as it serves our main purpose of being totally ‘out of the box’ . We believe that Surge signifies a blend of various ideas, flavors & cultures. It also represents vibrancy which is precisely what we want to showcase by means of Surge’14.

How to reach KJ Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology, Mumbai

KJSIEIT is located very near to Chunabhatti railway station which comes on the Harbour Railway track.If you are planning to come from the Western Railway side, you can change from the Western Railway to the Central Railway at Dadar station, and catch a slow local train from platform no. 1 for Sion Station and from there walking distance of 15 minutes and reach by rickshaw at Sion Killa and directly to the campus by rickshaw from Sion Railway Station.
