Energy, Environment and Education are considered the three priorities of priorities of the world. Green Buildings, Intelligent lifts, Energy plantation are all the terms no more described the technical jargons but a common man’s terminology. Next 50 years, the world will be governed by emerging Green Energy Technologies. This Workshop addresses these two important aspects of Energy and Environment with a Holistic approach that involves Economics and Education also. Professional ethics and environmental awareness among technocrats and education leaders is the key to Sustainable Development. This Workshop will educate and enlighten the participants to become Global Engineers with a strong sense of love, respect and reverence towards nature. Budding engineers, irrespective of branch or specialization need to develop a holistic approach in designs. Energy and Environment, being interdisciplinary in nature, need to be studied by everyone of us for all round development. Wealth from waste or money from chimney, is the current trend of Green Technologies. As such, all such will be discussed in the workshop NWEE14.
