Welcome to Neura '14!!! A Grand Tech Carnival organized by IT - PEC Neura '14 provides you the best platform to showcase all your Technical, Non-Technical, Literary & Gaming Skills. The department has organized the previous edition of this fest on February 2012. Now the grounds of scope are even bigger!! As a part of this fest, there are 6 technical events and various non technical, literary & Gaming events are being conducted. Few of the technical events are 1) Mr Multimedia 2) Web Designing 3) Technical Quiz 4) Neura Drive 5) Paper Presentation 6) Code Masters A call for all incredulous techno-cracks!! Phocos comapany will be announcing internship offer as well as a project contest during the inaugural function of the event.

Accommodation

Participants are requested to register for accomodation providing us for the exact date(s) for which you require so that we can make arrangements for you. Following this, the participants will be receiving an email from our Hospitality Desk providing a unique Neura Accommodation ID (NAID). Participants are requested to carry their NAID letter which will be mailed to you after the accommodation is confirmed. Upon reaching PEC campus, participants are requested to report to the Hospitality Desk, which will be operational day and night. We will be issuing Neura ID cards to all the outstation participants which can be collected from venues that will be informed when you arrive. Participants are also expected to follow certain rules and regulations to help us maintain the festive atmosphere in the institute. Alternate Accomodation Because of limited space on campus, we might not be able to provide accommodation in the campus to all participants who apply for accommodation. TO help outstation participants, we have planned for alternate accommodation outside the campus. We will get back to you with the places very soon.

How to reach Pondicherry Engineering College, Pudhucherry

The College campus is situated at Pillaichavady which is about 12 km from the Railway station and bus-stand in Pondicherry town. It is about 160 km south of Chennai (Madras) on the shores of Bay of Bengal. The campus is also well connected by town buses from Pondicherry. Buses ply between Chennai (Madras) and Pondicherry frequently and the duration of journey is about 3 to 4 hours. The buses that come from Chennai via East Coast Road (ECR) stop near the campus itself. Commutation by auto-rickshaws from Pondicherry city would cost around Rs. 75.
