Winter is coming, and Lucknow shall soon be abuzz with the lights and sounds of Varchasva 2013 - the Annual Sports and Cultural Fest of IIM Lucknow. The three-day extravaganza is back this year - bigger, brighter and zanier than ever before! Now in its6th year of inception, Varchasva is one of the Premier Cultural Festivals in India. Varchasva 2012 attracted over 4000 participants from over 100 colleges nationally. With prizes worth ₹5 Lakhs and rewards like RJing for Radio Mirchi, Varchasva attracted participation from top undergrad and MBA institutes like IITs, IIMs, DU, NIFT, SP Jain, etc. The Nights were replete with acts from acclaimed artists such as Motherjane, Kaushik Bose and Suraj Jagan. Increasing the glam quotient was Jashn - The Fashion Parade of Varchasva. This year, Varchasva shall be held from October 4-6, 2013. Be it sports, dance, music, arts, theatre, literature or quizzing - Varchasva shall have something for everybody! Events Emotions will run high and expressions will be unleashed with theatre coming to IIML with stage plays, mime and mono-acting competitions. Participants for Halla Bol, the street play, shall be tasked with promoting social causes to people who need to be aware of them the most
