About Event

A HACKATHON is an event, in which computer programmers and others involved in software development collaborate intensively on a software project. The overall objective of the event is that Google developer Group is to inculcate developing in android, so that student find it as a basic platform to learn the basics of Android development and can shape their thoughts into a realistic application. By keeping in mind the ease of students, the Android developing will be starting from basic to the complex level. Along with the workshop, a Hackathon is also conducted so that people find a personified platform to share their thoughts, shape their ideas into realistic applications altogether and can share various unfolds of developing through Android. Hackathon will be conducted in two days, 27-28 August from 9AM – 5PM. First day there will be a brief introduction on ANDROID technology by the experts, following by the next day there will be a hackathon, where students will form a team of two and create an application to test the skills.
Winners will be provided with goodies and cash prizes.
