About Event

Entering it's 5th edition, the College of Engineering Pune Model United Nations 2015 will be held on 12th and 13th December 2015 at College of Engineering, Shivajinagar, Pune. The event is the official MUN of the second oldest engineering college in Asia.

The conference will help inculcate and develop public speaking skills, knowledge of international law and politics and most importantly good diplomatic skills. The conference will cover areas like focus on the quality of debate rounded off in a peer-motivated setting and will help delegates interactively educate themselves and think on their feet.

There are 8 committees which will be simulated in the conference - 
1) DISEC – Disarmament and International Security
2) ECOSOC – Economic and Social Council
3) UNSC – United Nations Security Council
4) SOCHUM – Social, Humanitarian and Cultural
5) IAEA – International Atomic Energy Agency
6) UNHRC – United Nations Human Rights Council
7) UNW – United Nations Women
8) UNEP – United Nations Environmental Programme
