About Event
Udyami 2016-The Entrepreneurial crossroads is a three day event to be held at Panjab University, Chandigarh.
It is an E-summit aiming at bridging the gap between investers and budding entrepreneurs. Udyami 2016 boasts a friendly environment for startups and students to come together in the development of entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The event comprises of various competitions like Bid your own company, Suit-up, Startup of the Event etc which would help in enhancing various entrepreneurial skills. Also there are sector dedicated panel discussions on Healthcare, Travel, Startups of the future etc having successful and experienced panelists. Moreover there is an Intership Fair having companies from all technical and non-technical fields, providing job and internship opportunities to students. There would also be workshops on Stock Market Trading and Human Resource during this event.

How to Reach Chandigarh?
By Road
There is an excellent road linkage of Chandigarh with its neighboring states Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh and New Delhi. There are two national highways, namely, No. 21 (Ambala-Kinnaur) and 22 (Chandigarh-Leh) that serve this union territory by connecting it with other parts of the country. Volvo Buses are available for/from International Airport, New Delhi and ISBT New Delhi.
By Train
The city is well connected with major cities New Delhi, Shimla, Amritsar via train. There are five trains, namely, Shatabdi Express and Himalayan Queen that link Chandigarh with Delhi. There are also direct trains to/from Mumbai, Lucknow, Shirdi, Jaipur and Amritsar.
By Air
The city is well connected with Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Bengaluru, Srinagar and Amritsar via air. The airport is located at a distance of about 14 kms from Panjab University.
How to reach Panjab University in Chandigarh?
Panjab University is well connected with all important locations in Chandigarh through local Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) Air-conditioned, and ordinary bus service. Fully air-conditioned cab services are available at the door step on giving a call. (0172-4141414, 4646464, 4242424).Auto-rickshaws are also available at all important locations in Chandigarh.
