Workshops at Neurobots National Level Hackathon – IIT Palakkad
As part of the Neurobots National Level Hackathon at IIT Palakkad, participants will gain hands-on exposure through three carefully designed technical workshops. These workshops aim to equip students with future-ready skills and practical knowledge that can be directly applied during the hackathon and beyond.
1. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Workshop
The Artificial Intelligence workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals and practical applications of AI in real-world problem-solving. This session focuses on understanding how machines learn, analyze data, and make intelligent decisions.
Participants will explore core concepts such as machine learning basics, data-driven models, and AI-powered systems. The workshop emphasizes hands-on learning, enabling students to understand how AI can be used to build smart applications across domains like healthcare, automation, finance, and education. This workshop is ideal for beginners as well as students looking to strengthen their AI foundations for hackathon development.
2. Agentic AI Workshop
The Agentic AI workshop dives into one of the most advanced and rapidly evolving areas of artificial intelligence—autonomous and goal-driven AI agents. Participants will learn how intelligent agents can perceive their environment, plan actions, collaborate with other agents, and execute tasks with minimal human intervention.
This workshop covers concepts such as AI agents, decision-making workflows, tool usage, multi-agent systems, and real-world use cases. Students will gain insights into how Agentic AI is transforming industries through automation, intelligent assistants, and autonomous systems. The session is designed to help participants build smarter, more adaptive solutions during the hackathon.
3. Cyber Safety Workshop
The Cyber Safety workshop focuses on creating awareness and practical understanding of digital security in today’s connected world. Participants will learn about common cyber threats, safe online practices, data protection, and the importance of ethical behavior in technology.
The workshop introduces topics such as cybersecurity fundamentals, cyber hygiene, phishing awareness, system vulnerabilities, and responsible use of technology. Through real-world examples and case discussions, students will understand how to design secure systems and protect digital assets—an essential skill for any modern technologist.
Why These Workshops Matter
These workshops are structured to:
Prepare participants technically for the hackathon
Build strong foundations in emerging and essential technologies
Encourage responsible and ethical innovation
Enable students to convert ideas into impactful solutions
By attending these sessions, participants of the Neurobots National Level Hackathon at IIT Palakkad gain not just knowledge, but the confidence to innovate, collaborate, and compete at a national level.
