The aim of the workshop is to provide detailed hands-on experience of NS-3 for real data and highlight its scope for research in WSN. The objective of this course is to provide knowledge on basic fundamentals of network simulator 3 and generation of different network scenario. The Participants will be able to have an insight knowledge about Ubuntu & get a clear idea to install NS3 using shell script, Understand how to write ,compile & run a Program in c++, Create a library (shared library and dynamic library) & link them to main program, have a clear idea about NS3 architecture & programming model and also about how NS3 works for wired, wireless & mixed simulation.

Workshops

A network simulator is software that predicts the behavior of a computer network. Since communication networks have become too complex for traditional analytical methods to provide an accurate understanding of system behavior, network simulators are used. The aim of the workshop is to provide detailed hands-on experience of NS-3 for real data and highlight its scope for research in WSN.
