Nowadays, finite element analysis (FEA) has become one of the most popular numerical techniques due to its applicability to a broad field of Structural Engineering and many other disciplines, its diversity, flexibility, and ability to provide approximated numerical solutions to a wide range of engineering applications. Structural Engineering is a flourishing field for science, in which the physical mechanics problems are solved by cooperation of mechanics, computers and various numerical methods. It has already entered into every branch of mechanics, and is being generalized continuously for broader research and application ranges. Structural analysis involves determining the behavior of a structure when it is subjected to loads, such as those resulting from gravity, wind, or even in extreme cases of natural disasters new theories and methods of Structural Engineering are also being developed gradually.
