About Event

Wissenaire is the annual techno-management fest of Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar (IIT Bhubaneswar).
It strives for transforming Odisha into a better knowledge hub, and has reached great heights within no time.
Wissenaire is a collection of a large set of technical and managerial events, each contributing to the progress of the nation through encouragement of research implementation, product design and product creation as such.

Events

1) Sanchaar – The Out- House Workshop
Programme of Wissenaire
(September 2017 to January
2018).

2) TEDx – Prelude Event of Wissenaire’18 (October 7th 2017).

3) Q-Wissenaire – National Level Competitive Exam for students of 8th, 9th, 10th, +1 and +2
(October last week in Bhubaneswar, December in rest of India).

4) TEKwissen - (every Friday evening)

5) Pre-Fest Talk - (January 2018)

COMPETITIONS
1) Yanthrix :- Yanthrix collectively represents all the robotics events of the fest Like Kick-Off, Robo-Wars, Rescue-Bot, and Maze-Solver etc.

2) Tech-Expo :- where students across the India are invited to come up with their Innovative products or research works and showcase for two days.

3) Matricks :- brain-teasing problem statements involving Coding, CAD designing, App development, Solid Works etc.

4) Colloquia :- The Paper Presentation event of Wissenaire aims at tapping the infinite potential of the
human mind in generating an “idea”.

5) Grand Arcanum :
Includes all design and thinking competitions

6) I Box :- This includes some informal events like LanWar (gaming), Sherlock (detective story writing).

7) Ingenium :- Ingenium encompasses all the events under management.

Apart from the above mentioned competitions there will also be other events including quizzes,tests,informals,Technology exhibitions etc..

Workshops

Wissenaire intends to provide an opportunity for young minds to hone their expertise in their fields of
interest with hands-on experience. For this purpose, Wissenaire organizes certain two-day workshops
on various topics like:

2. Cyber Security
3. Web Development
4. Auto CAD
5. Automobile and IC Engine Design
6. Ethical Hacking
7. Brain Wave Controlled Robotics
8. Digital Marketing for Start-ups
9. Digital Image Processing
